Saccomanno Fluid                                                                                        

Saccomanno Fluid is a ready-to-use cytology fixative. It is an alcohol and polyethylene glycol (Carbowax™*) solution suited especially for upper respiratory tract cytology, most notably sputum. Saccomanno Fluid permits storage of specimens for weeks preventing air drying artifacts and also is a good general cytological fixative. The containers are clear and the solution is tinted for easy specimen identification.
